Tether - keep your friends close

When you are tethered to a friend you can see their location, distance, and direction from you. Its perfect for group outings, skiing, music festivals, or anywhere you are with someone, but maybe not physically next to them the whole time.

With your permission, Tether monitors your location in the background while tethered to another friend so that each of you knows where the other is. We have built in a failsafe where your location will stop being monitored after 2 hours of not using the app, so as to avoid using unnecessary resources and overusing your devices battery. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
